Office of Career Rehabilitation and Graduate Follow-up:

Office vision: Contributing to reducing the problem of unemployment by aligning learning outcomes with labor market requirements by studying information about the labor market to provide constructive recommendations for developing and improving academic programs at the institute to be compatible with the requirements of the local and regional labor market.

Office message: In line with the Institute’s mission to graduate qualified students capable of meeting the different needs of various activities. The Alumni Follow-up Office is concerned with creating a strong and effective relationship between the institute and its graduates and between the institute and society.

Working in the Office of Career Rehabilitation and graduate follow-up

• Conducting the necessary communications to collect the names and addresses of the institute’s graduates to prepare a special archive for the graduates.
• Inviting graduates to events held by the Institute.
• Conducting special training courses for them and providing the necessary support.
• Holding an annual graduation ceremony, honoring distinguished graduates of the institute, and publishing their success stories.
• Facilitating their visit to the institute, their participation in its activities, and their benefit from its facilities
• Support small projects.

The Graduate Follow-up Office is responsible for the following:

• Creating a close connection between the graduate and the institute on an ongoing basis to strengthen his affiliation with the institute.
• Providing graduates with the opportunity to renew their information and develop their academic level and skills on an ongoing basis by providing them with new information in their fields of specialization through the following means:
• Activating continuing education programs by the institute to establish training programs and courses for graduates.
• Issuing a magazine or publishing it annually or semi-annually.
• Inviting graduates to the institute’s events and activities programs.
• Holding an annual alumni day for the purpose of connecting the graduate with a fellow graduate.
• Helping graduates who did not obtain suitable jobs by providing them with the needs of institutions and bodies for different specializations by opening channels between the institute (through graduates) and employment institutions.

• Assisting in securing partial, temporary, or permanent job opportunities for students after graduation, in a way that is compatible with their specializations, inclinations, and abilities.
• Building a human resources development information system in the institute and the labor market by building a database specialized in human resources for the institute’s graduates and students and making it available to students, graduates, and job seekers.
• Building a local, regional and international database specialized in labor market needs and opportunities available to graduates and students.
• Monitoring the employment status of the institute’s graduates through preparing digital indicators and research studies that support alignment between higher education outcomes and labor market requirements in terms of planning, follow-up, evaluation, and feedback to the labor market.
• Preparing studies on the required, saturated, and stagnant specializations.
• Giving students the necessary skills for the job that suits their specializations and inclinations by preparing training courses with the approval of the representative institute and units of a special nature.
• Coordination with civil society institutions related to human resources studies and development, recruitment and follow-up of institute graduates.

• Announcing required jobs and receiving applications from companies wishing to employ.
• Issuing a magazine or periodical bulletin containing news of interest to graduates.
• Continuously providing graduates with new information in their fields and specializations to develop their academic and professional level and skills.
• Holding an annual alumni day to which all graduates are invited.
