E-learning unit

The E -Learning Unit of the Institute for the support of faculty and students supported and supported them in adapting communication and information technologies to upgrade the level of educational service provided by the institute to students and the entire Egyptian society. The primary goal of establishing this unit was to promote and encourage excellence in the fields of teaching, learning and other academic activities.

The e-learning unit serves the institute’s students by providing them with simple electronic courses, virtual laboratories, international educational units, and previous exams to determine the extent of their understanding of academic materials. The e-learning unit also contributes to finding a method of direct interaction between students and their teachers. 

Unit objectives

• Converting academic courses into electronic courses.
• Entering and publishing the CVs of the institute’s faculty members on the institute’s website and the e-learning unit’s website.
• Establishing an electronic library of previous exams to serve the institute’s students in particular.
• Finding important topics related to the institute and society and placing them in the Egyptian Units repository to serve students and society.
• Finding ways of direct communication between students and their teachers.
• Simplifying the educational process for the teacher and for the student and converting it to electronic form.

• Converting and producing courses in academic programs into electronic courses.
• Production of virtual laboratories.
• Support for the DELOR educational module repository.
• Support for the repository of previous exams.
• Supporting the designer of CVs for faculty members and supporting staff.
• Support for electronic document portfolio.
• Support faculty website generator.
