The Institutional Excellence Unit was established based on the decision of the Institute’s Board of Directors, to bring about a qualitative shift in institutional performance and human capacity development to stimulate the spirit of competition among the administrative apparatus as well as between the Institute’s units and its various sectors.
In light of the sustainable development plan of Egypt’s Vision 2030, which stipulates the formation of an efficient and effective administrative apparatus that applies governance concepts, which contributes to achieving development.
In light of the government excellence system, which reflects the philosophy of institutional excellence and the leadership mentality that believes in the importance of quality work and institutional excellence in achieving leadership by raising performance standards, improving operations, and providing qualitative value.
Within the framework of supporting distinguished practices in providing services, which in turn contribute to achieving the satisfaction and happiness of customers and strategic partners, which establishes the values of giving, belonging and excellence, and motivates everyone to raise levels of performance and adhere to standards of quality and excellence.
Since the Institute obtained the accreditation of the National Authority for Educational Quality Assurance and Accreditation, which required the Institute to rise to excellence after quality, the Excellence Unit was established based on the decision of the Institute’s Board of Directors, in order to bring about a qualitative shift in institutional performance and develop human capabilities to stimulate the spirit of competition among the administrative apparatus as well as Between the Institute’s various units, through the Government Excellence System and using its standards as a basis for evaluation, which includes three main axes:
Placing the Institute among the ranks of distinguished educational institutes and institutions at the local and regional levels, and enhancing the Institute’s leadership and competitiveness in all aspects of performance in accordance with the Ministry’s vision and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The unit seeks to spread a culture of excellence, create a qualitative shift in institutional performance, and consolidate the principles and values of excellence in all sectors of the institute through best practices that support innovation and anticipating the future.
The unit aims to spread the culture of excellence among the institute’s various sectors in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, and to follow best practices to support, implement and disseminate institutional excellence. It also aims to develop and raise the level of the institute’s performance in accordance with the institutional excellence methodology.
The unit is responsible for promoting and disseminating the culture of institutional excellence at the institute in coordination with the relevant authorities, preparing the annual plan for the unit and following up on its implementation after its approval. It is also specialized in preparing annual reports on the unit’s activities and achievements and proposals for developing its performance.
