About the Excellence Unit<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>

The Institutional Excellence Unit was established based on the decision of the Institute\u2019s Board of Directors, to bring about a qualitative shift in institutional performance and human capacity development to stimulate the spirit of competition among the administrative apparatus as well as between the Institute\u2019s units and its various sectors.<\/span><\/p>

In light of the sustainable development plan of Egypt\u2019s Vision 2030, which stipulates the formation of an efficient and effective administrative apparatus that applies governance concepts, which contributes to achieving development.<\/span><\/p>

In light of the government excellence system, which reflects the philosophy of institutional excellence and the leadership mentality that believes in the importance of quality work and institutional excellence in achieving leadership by raising performance standards, improving operations, and providing qualitative value.<\/span><\/p>

Within the framework of supporting distinguished practices in providing services, which in turn contribute to achieving the satisfaction and happiness of customers and strategic partners, which establishes the values \u200b\u200bof giving, belonging and excellence, and motivates everyone to raise levels of performance and adhere to standards of quality and excellence.<\/span><\/p>

Since the Institute obtained the accreditation of the National Authority for Educational Quality Assurance and Accreditation, which required the Institute to rise to excellence after quality, the Excellence Unit was established based on the decision of the Institute\u2019s Board of Directors, in order to bring about a qualitative shift in institutional performance and develop human capabilities to stimulate the spirit of competition among the administrative apparatus as well as Between the Institute\u2019s various units, through the Government Excellence System and using its standards as a basis for evaluation, which includes three main axes:<\/span><\/p>

  • Axis of vision.<\/span><\/li>
  • Axis of possibilities.<\/span><\/li>
  • Innovation hub.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Vision of unity of excellence<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>

    Placing the Institute among the ranks of distinguished educational institutes and institutions at the local and regional levels, and enhancing the Institute\u2019s leadership and competitiveness in all aspects of performance in accordance with the Ministry\u2019s vision and Egypt\u2019s Vision 2030.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

    The unit seeks to spread a culture of excellence, create a qualitative shift in institutional performance, and consolidate the principles and values \u200b\u200bof excellence in all sectors of the institute through best practices that support innovation and anticipating the future.<\/span><\/p>

    Objectives of the Excellence Unit<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>

    The unit aims to spread the culture of excellence among the institute\u2019s various sectors in line with Egypt\u2019s Vision 2030, and to follow best practices to support, implement and disseminate institutional excellence. It also aims to develop and raise the level of the institute\u2019s performance in accordance with the institutional excellence methodology.<\/span><\/p>

    • Spreading a culture of excellence among the institute\u2019s various sectors in line with Egypt\u2019s Vision 2030.<\/span><\/li>
    • Follow best practices to support, implement and disseminate institutional excellence.<\/span><\/li>
    • Developing and upgrading the level of performance of the Institute according to the methodology of institutional excellence to keep pace with successive developments in various fields.<\/span><\/li>
    • Strengthening capabilities to apply modern and sustainable management concepts.<\/span><\/li>
    • Seeking to invest in critical opportunities preceded by effective strategic planning.<\/span><\/li>
    • Promoting the spirit of innovation and creativity to improve the educational, research and community services provided by the Institute.<\/span><\/li>
    • Achieving better rates of service provision that contribute to achieving customer satisfaction and the institute\u2019s strategic partners.<\/span><\/li>
    • Raising the efficiency of the institute\u2019s administrative apparatus and providing support to ensure the application of governance concepts.<\/span><\/li>
    • Stimulating the spirit of competition among members of the administrative body as well as between the various sectors of the institute.<\/span><\/li>

      Specializations of the Excellence Unit<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>

      The unit is responsible for promoting and disseminating the culture of institutional excellence at the institute in coordination with the relevant authorities, preparing the annual plan for the unit and following up on its implementation after its approval. It is also specialized in preparing annual reports on the unit\u2019s activities and achievements and proposals for developing its performance.<\/span><\/p>

      • Preparing annual reports on the unit\u2019s activities, achievements, and proposals for improving its performance.<\/span><\/li>
      • Promoting institutional excellence practices at the Institute by holding workshops, meetings, and meetings.<\/span><\/li>
      • Collecting and analyzing information on the progress of activities and achievements in the various sectors of the Institute for continuous improvement.<\/span><\/li>
      • Developing and updating the organizational structure and guide based on the institute\u2019s strategic direction.<\/span><\/li>
      • Supporting all sectors of the Institute to develop and update policy manuals, procedures, job descriptions and models to achieve the requirements of institutional excellence.<\/span><\/li>
      • Review and evaluate the efficiency of various processes and procedures to ensure their compatibility, integration and differentiation, and provide development suggestions aimed at increasing the effectiveness of these processes.<\/span><\/li>
      • Forming an institutional excellence team and defining its tasks.<\/span><\/li>
      • Apply for the institutional excellence awards that are announced.<\/span><\/li>
      • Participate in determining performance measurement indicators for activities and awards related to institutional excellence at the Institute.<\/span><\/li>
      • Supporting candidates from the Institute\u2019s employees applying for excellence awards.<\/span><\/li>
      • Study and express an opinion on all topics related to institutional excellence at the Institute referred to the unit.<\/span><\/li>
