Academic Advisory He is a faculty member chosen by the Board of the Institute after the nomination of the scientific department to guide the student and help him to solve the problems that may encounter him during the study and his opinion is advisory.

Objectives of Academic Advising

1. Providing the necessary support to the student during his academic career in order to achieve the flow of the study plan and complete the requirements of the study plan for the program in which the student is enrolled within the prescribed time period.
2. Supervising and following up the application of academic advising procedures and instructions at the Institute.
3. Recognize the importance of counseling and its role in providing the academic university climate and explain the study plan and its vocabulary.
4. توفير الإرشاد الوظيفي للطالب أثناء مسيرته التعليمية وبعدها بما يحقق إيجاد فرص عمل تناسب تخصصه ووضعه الاجتماعي والمالي.
5. Provide financial and non-financial support to students during their educational journey at the Institute.

The duties of the academic advisor are as follows:

1. Each academic advisor supervises a group of students.
2. Assist the student in achieving the required skills and targeted educational outcomes in the graduates of each program.
3. Provide advice and assistance in finding and reaching a solution to the problems and difficulties they face on or off campus by introducing it to university traditions and regulations, which directly or indirectly affect their academic performance.
4. He shall be a watchdog and supervisor of their selection without obliging them to follow the instructions and directions dictated to them towards what suits them, and they need, monitor their selection, and intervene with help and advice when needed without waiting or asking for help from the student.
5. Develop a study plan for the student within the limits of his capabilities.
6. Clarifying the extent of the student's progress according to the study plan through a card allocated to each student in which he records all his data and results obtained.
7. Assisting the student in overcoming any difficulties or problems encountered in studying courses by strengthening the relationship between him and faculty members.
